8.05: Ethics of scientific publication

• Duplicate publication of data: Describes submission of a manuscript as the author's commitment to publish in the journal when submitting manuscripts and that authors should not simultaneously submit to another journal the same or similar papers or papers that include similar content.
• Data verification: Explains that it is important for an author and another researcher requesting data to agree in writing on the conditions for data sharing.
