7.01: This section explains that APA authors now need to complete a disclosure of interests form. Also, this section indicates that the author conveys print and electronic rights to APA and explains what APA does with the rights conveyed and what authors are still permitted to do.

7.02: Preparing the word-processing file: Provides new information on file preparation for text (including footnotes) and graphics.

7.05: Electronic manuscript: Instructions on how to respond to changes and queries are provided for authors who receive printouts or word-processing files during the editing and production of articles.
